ABOUT US

Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh is a pan-India organization dedicated to educate under-privileged children from various states of India, who are plagued by poverty, illiteracy, insurgency, superstition, and social intolerance. The organization provides resources to children, of the economically and socially backward classes, castes and tribals, so as to ensure that they enter the mainstream society as responsible, educated and confident citizens. These children are educated and trained to a level that they are capable of setting up their own enterprise and be self-sufficient. They would in turn be active contributors to the national economy.

OUR IMPACT

OBJECTIVES

The objective of Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewa Ashram Sangh is to provide a caring home, shelter, food, clothing and education to the disadvantaged, deprived and needy children, especially from backward tribal areas, as to ensure that they enter the mainstream society as responsible and educated citizens with self-esteem.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The organization imparts education to under-privileged children using the modern education system along with inculcation of traditional Indian values. They are given in-house training for a year enabling them to enter formal schools.

HOSTEL

Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh has been running hostels (Gurukuls) across the country for socially and economically deprived students. The children are given boarding and lodging free of cost.

FUNDING POLICY

Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh is totally funded by local community and donations. The praiseworthy social work being carried at the various gurukuls run by the organisation has encouraged donations to meet the financial requirements of the gurukuls. We follow a disciplined policy in accepting donations and the use of funds.

  • We make no commercial use of any of our Facilities.
  • Our members do not use the collected funds for their personal use, travel or entertainments. This is prohibited and the Policy is strictly adhered to.
  • We take good care of our children and ensure a clean, comfortable and modest environment for housing them.
  • The amenities provided include hygienic nutritious food, comfortable clothing, education at good local schools, and after school coaching to augment the teaching and assist in assignments
  • We ensure that our children self esteem is not affected in any manner as we provide an environment for the children to develop confidence, good moral values and self respect.
