J.I. Richart

He studies in Class 9 in SM Arya Public School, West Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. His late father Gupta Chandra Msha was a farmer in Tripura. His mother Tobirung Msha is a housewife who stays in a Refugee Camp in Tripura after Mizos burnt his parents’ house due to tribal enmity. He has 1 brother and 2 sisters. The government pays their family Rs 600 per month only. He was brought to the Gurukul in June 2010. Richart scored a CGPA of 9.6 in Class 9. Richart wants to become a Computer Engineer.

Vishal Arya

He is pursuing B. Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) at Delhi College of Engineering. He is from the Bhil Tribe of Madhya Pradesh. His father Kachchu Singh Damor is a teacher in Village Kakanwani of District Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. His mother Kanju Damor is a housewife. He has 2 brothers (one pursuing Engineering and the other in B.Sc.) and 2 sisters (one pursing Engineering and the other in the Arya Kanya Gurukul). He joined the Gurukul in 2006. Vishal had been selected at NIT Warangal and Kurukshetra too. He was in the baseball team, which stood 2nd in the National Championship. He received a scholarship of Rs 30000, which was used to partly fund his tuition fee (Rs 1 Lakh). His balance fee was paid using donations.  Vishal travels by bus to college and spends one hour every evening to tutor gurukul girls studying in Class 5.

Ajay Garwal

He studies in Class 10 in SM Arya Public School, West Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. His father Pemu Garwal is a farmer in Village Dolatpura of District Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. His mother Lakhu Garwal is a housewife. He has 1 brother and 1 sister. He joined the Gurukul in 2007 when 7 years old. Ajay is proficient in sports and has played Baseball and Softball twice at the National level. He received a government award of Rs 24000 for his sports performance. Ajay was adjusted the Best Athlete twice at the Zonal level. Ajay wants to pursue a career as a Sportsperson.

Lalit Arya

He is pursuing B.Sc. Hons (Electronics) in Keshav Mahavidyalaya of Delhi University. His father Nagji Vasuniya is a poor farmer in Village Dolatpura of District Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. His mother Vailam Vasuniya is a housewife. He has 1 brother who works as a labourer. He joined the Gurukul in 2005 when 10 years old. Lalit manages his tuition fee and his books with the help of donations. He spends 2 hours every evening tutoring Class 6 and 7 students.

 Ajay Katara

He is a 15-year-old Class 11 student who is in the Gurukul for the last 7 years. His father Thavaria is a farmer and his mother Kanta is a housewife. He has two brothers and one sister. He says he came to the Gurukul as there was no school in his village and also because the economic condition of his family was very bad. He dreams to do something to make the country proud.
